Hotel Imperial

Hotels in Delhi Built in 1933, the first among the legendary "Four Maidens of the East", The Imperial was the only luxury hotel provided by Sir Edwin Lutyen in his grand design for Delhi. The hotel has a somewhat unconventional style and design; a mixture of Victorian and old colonial with a playful dosage of art deco.

Divided into four wings and the hotel belies 263 elegantly appointed rooms and suites. Its restaurants are masterpieces with museum - like interiors. The permanent 'Art Galleries' house a priceless art collection as well as antiques that the hotel has acquired over the years.

The hotel stays erect in 8 acres of beautiful lush green gardens, in the heart of the premium business, government and shopping district of Delhi. The International and Domestic airports are just half an hour's drive through wide tree-lined avenues of Lutyen's New Delhi. As you approach the hotel, you pass through the Viceregal Lodge, now The President's Palace, The Parliament House and the North and South Block, execution centers of the Government of India.
