Tucked away in the age-old Aravali hills of Rajasthan, the 18th century Devi Garh Fort Palace, in the village of Delwara commands one of the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur. The actual construction of the fort palace started only in the 1760s, under Raghudev Singh II, with further additions being made to the structure by the rulers who followed. The palace was absorbed into the state of Rajasthan in the 1960s, and was subsequently abandoned.
Today, Devi Garh has regained its past glory, after years of restoration and reconstruction. An imposing and impressive structure, it is now a unique all-suite boutique hotel, with 23 suites and 6 tents.
Devi Garh firmly stands as the intersecting point of the traditional and the modern times. Marble and semi-precious stones have been used in contemporary designs to create an elegant beauty. Personalized service complemented by a wide range of modern facilities goes towards making Devi Garh a comfortable and attractive retreat.

Dining
From the delicate coconut based dishes of the south, to the faintly sweet vegetarian delicacies of Gujarat, the fiery curries of Andhra Pradesh to the mouth watering sweets of Bengal - India's cuisine is one which promises new discoveries each step of the way.
The food prepared in the hotel resembles Devi Garh itself - rich and rooted in tradition but with a refreshingly contemporary feel to it. Prepared from the freshest ingredients available having the touch of Traditional cuisine, the menu is enriched with all possible Indian varieties. The restaurant offers an A la carte selection of Asian and Continental dishes. In order to add on more choice, we have special menus as well which change on daily basis. A Western daily menu incorporates flavors from as far away as Italy and Thailand. For our Indian daily menu, a selection of dishes from different regions of India is served on a silver platter or Thalii. Nutritious and low calorie Spa menu is also available. If you wish to learn more about food then you can visit the show kitchen to get handy tips from the Chef.
An eclectic mix of drinks such as spirits stirred with Pomegranate juice or Jasmine syrup are available along side in the bar. While In-room dining offers meals in the privacy of your suite, we would urge you to use one of our special dinner venues. The whole palace is there to explore since you have the freedom to dine where you wish. Either way, come enjoy a meal at Devi Garh. more..
